Well presented but severely overpriced-Not to disclaim anyone, while the food is extremely well presented, and was not in any way "bad" it did however lack the exploration and inventive taste that I expected- It was neither traditional French, neither was it the only other route- Modern cuisine. It just didn't really hit the expected mark at the price point. The issue was that this restaurant priced itself as a single or even double michelin starred restaurant, when (at it's current level) it isn't there yet. At nearly £70 per head with a couple of drinks, it needs some severe improving. However, not to dissuade you too much, the food was not bad and you will get an extremely well presented and essentially hearty meal.

Breakfast buffet is 2625 yen, but it is a little extravagant, but the content of each material is high enough. I'll do my best to serve it.

This restaurant has a nice setting and the meals are enjoyable, but not more. For the prices charged, the service and food quality is simply not up to par. They lack inspiration and are poorly executed. For example, the corn mousse served had been prepared too long in advance, so that there was a little bit of mousse on top of lots of liquid. The wine list is very limited. For example, the only three white wines are a Bergerac, a Sancerre, and a California Chardonnay (Bogle)... and they’re served too cold. But, it’s a captive market, you’re on a beautiful island, so forget about the price and enjoy!

Great food but seems like a bit overpriced -even considering this is Japan-, 8.000 JPY on the regular menu which is very good but not amazing.While it's a nice place at day, with a perfect concrete back, nice roof structure and great outsider view; at night it's very poor lighting makes one not enjoy the place so much.Great and kind service.

Breakfast was nothing special. The view overlooking the sea was good and the apple jam was delicious.

Overall it was a good experience, but as the say, the devil leaves in the details: too much light avoiding a nice view of the outside during the night. White wine was served too warm and the cheesecake dessert was basically burnt. Too many bad details for 100 dollars dinner.

We used it for breakfast of hotel. Overlooking the sea from the window, I could have a good meal.

Cozy with excellent food...consider using local produce!

Sadly one of my worst reviews. The food is overpriced and average. It's one good point is that it is well presented. But the portions are small and we all left feeling hungry. With small portions, the food has to be inventive, complex and the taste out of this world. It was none of these. Lovely space though.

The breakfast was very good, the meals were organic and local ingredients, very delicious.

The meals on the course are great. However, I cannot hear the explanation of the menu whether the waiter is busy. In addition, there is no notation in the drink menu, but there is draft beer.

It is available in the morning buffet. A Western-style menu. The creation of original salad with plenty of vegetables is finished.If the weather is fine, the view of the quiet Seto Inland Sea in the morning is beautifully watched.

Although the view is quite nice, the breakfast buffet is left a bit wanting for the price (about ¥2,500 per person for non-guests). Luckily, the Terrace restaurant does admit non-guests as it is one of the only food options other than museum cafes up the hill.

Breakfast is recommended.

If you go to the road from Miyaura Port, you will not be allowed to travel.

I ate dinner here with a small tour group, another Australian, two Japanese guides, two Italians and Parisians - and we were all blown away by the exquisitely presented and delicious luxury banquet - combining a fusion of French and Japanese cuisine styles. The restaurant is spacious and modern, maybe a bit too bright at night inside.

Because day tripmy car customers are forbidden, you can not enter without walking (^ - ^;

We stayed at Benesse House and used it in the morning buffet. From salad to steamed vegetables, French toast, bread pudding and champagne ... we had a wonderful breakfast including the view!

Well, either here or Issen, it is a captured market. Food was alright but not for the price. Service, could be improved. Seemed to be short of service staff, took a while to get their attention to order.
